Here are today’s trim flat white’s of music news:
- VH1 have released their list of the top 100 songs from the 90’s. Beyonce is #1, followed by Outkast, Lady Gaga, and Eminem. Reading this list is guaranteed to give you waves of nostalgia, so be warned, your feelings for Creed and Shaggy will come flooding back. (via VH1)
- Lady Gaga teams up with Tony Bennett for the song ‘The Lady Is A Tramp’. This is just a teaser video, but it’s Lady Gaga, so we thought we should put it here. Plus we find that looking at Tony Bennett is much easier to handle when done in 15 second bursts. (via Youtube)
- Speaking of team ups, Taylor Swift and Usher teamed up at one of Tay-Tay’s concerts to perform ‘Yeah’. This would be pretty awesome to see, but we know how much of a notorious ladies-man Usher is, so we are more than a bit concerned seeing him glide up up and around our Taylor. Stay away from her, she’s ours. (via Youtube)
- Example doing a cover of Green Day. Because that’s exactly what dance artists do. They cover pop-punk songs. With an acoustic guitar. Naturally.
- Kanye West & Jay-Z getting the remix treatment. A bit dubsteppy, because every remix ever right now has to be a bit dubsteppy. That’s the new rule.
