This is my last blog of 2011! 

Can I get a TOOOO-TOOT from the bleachers please?

Gosh it seems like just yesterday I was recounting my passion for music and the thrill of obtaining a job in the music ‘biz.  Ten thousand words later…

Ten thousand words?! Wow, we really stuck at it. Who knew we had it in us? Thank you readers! If there was a blog survivor I’d have totally made it through to the next round – and that hardly ever happens.

So I know this is super geeky but I totally made my grandmas a ‘Suz Blog Book’ for Christmas. Yep, that’s right – creative and heartfelt. I am good.It’s a fully printed A3 booklet with a pretty pink cover page and pictures and headings and everything - honestly it could be stocked at Whitcoulls for at least $9.95. It’s called: 

“A record of life through the eyes of Happily Ever Suz in 2011”

Because it is! It really is!

I sure hope they like it. If not, it will be a great fly swatter for summer. 

So, seeing as this is my last blog for 2011 I suppose I should reflect on the year that’s been and all that. But you know what? We all know what’s happened for the most part. There were some AWESOME times and there were some NOT SO AWESOME times.  It was a pick’n’mix year to say the least. I salute you 2011.

I’m actually pretty excited about what’s round the corner though - 2012 is shaping up to be the most adult year of my life. I have two besties getting married, another having a baby, oh yes and did I mention uMusic is going open plan? Goodbye office, hello communal office living! Let’s get collaborative people!

I’m going to be so mature with my open plan office and my music job and my blog. 2012 slow down before you hurt yourself. I love it!

All the best for Christmas and New Year you guys - I sure hope you’re doing something fun with people equally as awesome as you.  And thanks for reading my blog this year, it’s been super fun.
