The Outsiders carry New Zealand's punk to the world

New Zealand punk is alive and well, thanks in no small part to The Outsiders, who have been carving out an impressive reputation and unyielding sound through constant touring all around the world.

The heavy touring has lead to record deals with Anchorless Records in New York, Underground Communique in Chicago, and most recently, Deadboy Records here in New Zealand.

A new EP, Shallow Grave, has just been released, and it's the perfect showcase of the strengths of the band. Namely melodic punk with a tangible hit of rock. Turn it up loud and jump around is the genreal idea.

The Outsiders will be touring around New Zealand shortly, before heading back to blaze trails overseas. So make sure you check them and their new EP Shallow Grave out as soon as possible. (on iTunes here: Shallow Graves - EP - The Outsiders)
