It’s that time of year when all the Summer tours are being announced. That time which makes Summer seem so far away, even though it’s only a couple of months.
The Classic Hits Winery Tour (formerly the More FM Winery Tour) has been going since 2007, and has established itself as the classiest place to be seen enjoying the best music while dabbling in the best wine. (the wine is optional, but it adds to the classiness, trust us, we know classy)
The 2012 Tour has just been announced and it’s a heavy hitting New Zealand filled affair.
Headlining is New Zealand’s hottest singer/songwriter Gin Wigmore, who will be fresh from releasing her sophomore albumGravel & Wine (out November 7).
The Mutton Birds are reforming to join the tour as well (celebrating 20 years since the release of their debut album, and 10 years since their last show), the kiwi legends will be pulling out all their hits, including ‘Anchor Me’, ‘Dominion Road’ and ‘Nature’,to entertain the lucky punters.
Rounding out the bill is the band of the moment Avalanche City, who craft just the loveliest songs you can imagine.
So, all in all, this tour brings the best New Zealand music to the most beautiful New Zealand locations. And now all we have to do is wait...
