Music Video: Gotye takes the 'Easy Way Out'

No pressure, Gotye. All you ahve to do is follow up your monster worldwide hit single 'Somebody That I Used To Know'. (Seriously, it's a worldwide hit, #1 in the UK, top 10 and climbing in the US, MASSIVE in Belgium).

So what do you do? You don't even try to get a song as catchy as the last one, because that's not going to happen. You pick a song that has some weight to it, one that after a few listens, starts to mean something bigger. And you make sure the music video that accompanies it is a cracker.

So well done, Gotye. The music video for 'Easy Way Out' is a fantastic small piece of art, and it even takes the thing that people liked most about the 'Somedboyd' video (Gotye's nudeness) and sneaks it into the new one. An excellent example of knowing your audience.

'Easy Way Out' is from Gotye's amazing album Making Mirrors, which is out now and can be found on iTunes here: Making Mirrors - Gotye
